Abstract

|
|
I study the efficacy and side effect of the selective Hi-receptor antagonist astemizcle in allergic rhinitis and studied the added effect of combined cromolyn-sodium spray.
Astemizole reduced the symptoms of allergic rhinitis and also increased the effect of astemizcle ¢¥of combined cromolyn-sodium spray. (p
Astemizole was completely non-sedative and no side effect except for increased appetite in chronic allergic rhinitis(one patient).
It is concluded that astemizole is a highly effective nonsedative selective H,-antihistamine for therapy of allergic rhinitis.
